The Cape, a Thompson Hotel, has announced the appointment of Diego Padula as its new General Manager. The property, located in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, is part of the Hyatt Hotels Corporation portfolio.
Padula brings over two decades of experience in the hospitality industry to his new position. Before joining The Cape, he held leadership roles at several luxury hotels, including positions in Argentina, Mexico, and the United States.
In his new role, Padula will oversee all aspects of the hotel’s operations, focusing on guest experience, team development, and strategic growth. He stated, “I am honored to join The Cape and look forward to building on its reputation for exceptional service and unique guest experiences.”
The Cape, a Thompson Hotel, features 161 guest rooms, suites, and villas, along with a variety of dining venues, a rooftop lounge, and a spa. The hotel is known for its views of the Sea of Cortez and the iconic El Arco rock formation.
Hyatt Hotels Corporation acquired the Thompson Hotels brand in 2019, expanding its luxury lifestyle offerings. The Cape opened in 2015 and has since received recognition for its design and service.
