The St. Kitts Tourism Authority has announced the formation of a Travel Advisor Board, aiming to enhance collaboration with travel professionals and strengthen the island’s position as a tourism destination.
Purpose and Structure of the Board
The newly created board will consist of 12 travel advisors from North America, each selected for their expertise and influence in the travel industry. According to the Tourism Authority, the board will provide guidance on market trends, consumer preferences, and effective strategies to promote St. Kitts.

Board Member Responsibilities
Members of the Travel Advisor Board are expected to participate in quarterly meetings, both virtually and in-person, to share insights and discuss opportunities for growth. The board will also contribute to the development of marketing campaigns and offer feedback on visitor experiences.
Thompson added, “By working closely with these advisors, we can ensure that St. Kitts remains competitive and continues to attract discerning travelers.”
Selection Criteria and Term Length
The Tourism Authority indicated that advisors were chosen based on their sales performance, knowledge of the Caribbean market, and commitment to promoting St. Kitts. Board members will serve a one-year term, with the possibility of extension based on their contributions.
Strategic Goals
