International luxury resort company Sani/Ikos Group has indicated that travel demand is rebounding after a downturn caused by the recent conflict in the Middle East.
Travel Demand Shows Signs of Recovery
Sani/Ikos Group, which manages upscale resorts in Greece and Spain, stated on Thursday that bookings are returning to pre-conflict levels. The company experienced a decline in reservations following the outbreak of violence in the region last October.
“We saw a significant drop in bookings immediately after the events in the Middle East, but the market has since stabilized and we are now seeing a recovery,” said Andreas Andreadis, CEO of Sani/Ikos Group.
Impact on Business and Future Outlook
The group reported that its properties in Greece and Spain are now experiencing increased demand, particularly from travelers in the United Kingdom, Germany, and France. Andreadis noted that the company expects a strong summer season as travel confidence returns.
“The appetite for luxury travel remains strong, and we are optimistic about the coming months,” Andreadis added.
Expansion and Investment Plans
Sani/Ikos Group also announced ongoing investments in its existing resorts, as well as plans to open new properties in the Mediterranean region. The company aims to expand its portfolio while maintaining high standards of service and sustainability.
