Forest River has unveiled its latest luxury travel trailer, the Teleos prototype, which distinguishes itself by not featuring any slide-outs. The new model was recently presented to the public, highlighting a design that focuses on maximizing interior space without the use of expandable slides.
Design and Features
The Teleos prototype measures 32 feet in length and is built on a tandem-axle chassis. The trailer’s interior is designed to offer a spacious feel, achieved through a wide-body construction and a 7-foot interior ceiling height. The absence of slide-outs is intended to simplify setup and reduce potential maintenance concerns associated with moving parts.
Inside, the Teleos features a front living area with a large panoramic window, a mid-kitchen equipped with solid-surface countertops, and a rear bedroom that includes a king-size bed. The bathroom is located between the kitchen and bedroom, offering a residential-style shower and additional storage space.
Luxury Amenities
The trailer is equipped with a range of upscale amenities, such as theater seating, a fireplace, and a 50-inch television. Additional features include a washer and dryer prep area, a central vacuum system, and premium cabinetry throughout the interior. The exterior is finished with high-gloss fiberglass and features frameless windows, along with a power awning and outdoor speakers.
Market Position and Availability
Forest River developed the Teleos prototype to address the demand for luxury travel trailers that do not rely on slide-outs. The company has not yet announced a specific release date or pricing for the production version of the Teleos. More details are expected to be provided as the model moves closer to full-scale production.
