Lang Lang, who has performed with leading orchestras around the world, presented a program featuring works by Chopin, Debussy, and Liszt. The evening began with Chopin’s Nocturne in E-flat Major, Op. 9, No. 2, followed by Debussy’s “Clair de Lune.” The pianist concluded the first half with Liszt’s “Hungarian Rhapsody No. 2.”
During the performance, Lang Lang addressed the audience, sharing insights into the pieces and reflecting on his experiences as a touring artist. “It’s always special to play in a city like Las Vegas, where the energy is unique,” he remarked from the stage.
The concert marked Lang Lang’s first appearance in Las Vegas since 2019. According to event organizers, tickets for the performance sold out within days of going on sale. The Encore Theater, which seats approximately 1,500 people, was at full capacity for the event.
Audience members responded with multiple standing ovations, and Lang Lang returned to the stage for two encores, performing short works by Schumann and Mozart. Following the concert, the pianist met with fans and signed autographs in the theater lobby.
