Oceania Cruises has unveiled the initial itineraries for its newest ship, Oceania Sonata, which is set to launch in 2025. The company revealed details of the vessel’s maiden season, featuring a series of voyages across various destinations.
Oceania Sonata’s First Season Highlights
The Oceania Sonata will embark on its inaugural journey in April 2025, beginning with a 12-day cruise from Barcelona to Rome. The ship’s maiden season will include 26 voyages, ranging from seven to 34 days in length, and will visit locations throughout the Mediterranean, Northern Europe, and the British Isles.
According to Oceania Cruises, the itineraries will feature stops in cities such as Lisbon, Istanbul, and Amsterdam, as well as visits to less-traveled ports like Saint-Malo in France and Klaipeda in Lithuania. The company noted that the ship will also sail to the Norwegian fjords and the Baltic Sea.

Oceania Sonata is designed to accommodate 1,200 guests and will offer a range of dining options, including the line’s signature restaurants. The ship will also feature spacious suites and staterooms, a spa, and various entertainment venues.
