The ship, named Explora III, was handed over during a ceremony at the Fincantieri shipyard in Monfalcone, Italy. This event marks a significant milestone for Explora Journeys, the luxury travel brand under the MSC Group.

Explora III is designed to provide an upscale travel experience, featuring 461 oceanfront suites and residences. The vessel has a gross tonnage of 63,900 and can accommodate up to 922 guests. Onboard amenities include nine dining venues, ten bars and lounges, four swimming pools, and extensive wellness facilities.
Environmental Initiatives
The ship incorporates advanced environmental technologies, including selective catalytic reduction systems, shore power plug-in connectivity, and a wastewater treatment system. These features are intended to minimize the vessel’s ecological footprint and align with international sustainability standards.
