Explora Journeys, the luxury cruise brand under MSC Group, has announced that its third ship, Explora III, will begin sailing in August. The vessel is scheduled to embark on its maiden voyage from Civitavecchia, the port city near Rome, on August 10, 2024.
Maiden Voyage and Itinerary
The inaugural journey of Explora III will be a seven-night cruise departing from Civitavecchia. The itinerary includes stops at Sorrento, Trapani, Valletta, Tarragona, and concludes in Barcelona. Following its initial voyage, the ship will offer a series of Mediterranean cruises throughout the summer season.
Ship Features and Capacity
Explora III is designed to accommodate up to 922 guests in 461 oceanfront suites, all featuring private terraces. The ship will offer a range of amenities, including nine dining venues, several bars and lounges, four swimming pools, and a spa and wellness center. The vessel is equipped with advanced environmental technologies, including selective catalytic reduction systems and shore power connectivity.
