Marriott International has announced its intention to open two new luxury hotels in Lima, Peru, with the JW Marriott and Ritz-Carlton brands expected to launch in 2028.
Expansion of Luxury Brands in Peru
The company revealed that both the JW Marriott and Ritz-Carlton properties will be located in the Peruvian capital, marking a significant addition to Marriott’s presence in South America. These hotels are scheduled to open in 2028, according to Marriott’s statement.

The planned JW Marriott Lima will offer 163 rooms, while the Ritz-Carlton Lima is set to feature 150 rooms. Both hotels will be situated within a mixed-use development in the San Isidro district, an area recognized for its commercial and financial significance in Lima.
