Airelles has officially launched its latest property, Airelles Palladio, in Venice. The hotel is situated on the Giudecca island, within the historic walls of the 16th-century Convento delle Convertite. This marks Airelles’ first establishment outside of France.
Historic Setting and Restoration
The Convento delle Convertite, which dates back to the 1500s, has undergone extensive restoration to transform it into a luxury hotel. The building’s original architectural features have been preserved, and the restoration process was overseen by architect and designer Monica Ballesio. The property includes 95 rooms and suites, many of which offer views of the Venetian lagoon and the city’s skyline.
Accommodation and Amenities
Guests at Airelles Palladio can choose from a range of accommodations, including rooms, suites, and private residences. The hotel features a spa, gardens, and several dining options. The spa offers treatments inspired by Venetian traditions, while the gardens provide a tranquil retreat within the city. Dining venues include a restaurant serving Italian cuisine and a bar with views of the lagoon.
Location and Accessibility
The hotel is located on Giudecca island, a short boat ride from Venice’s main attractions. Private boat transfers are available for guests, providing convenient access to the city’s landmarks. The property’s location offers both seclusion and proximity to Venice’s cultural sites.
Expansion Beyond France
Airelles Palladio represents the brand’s expansion outside of France. The company’s portfolio includes properties in Courchevel, Gordes, and Versailles. With the opening of the Venice hotel, Airelles aims to bring its signature style and service to a new international destination.
