The Crescent Hotel in Fort Worth has announced the appointment of Sean Malek as its new executive chef. Malek will oversee the hotel’s culinary operations, including its signature restaurant, Emilia’s, as well as The Blue Room and The Circle Bar.
Malek brings over 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry to his new role. Prior to joining The Crescent Hotel, he served as executive chef at several notable establishments, including The Ritz-Carlton in Dallas and The Joule Hotel. His background also includes positions at luxury hotels and restaurants in New York and California.
“I am excited to join The Crescent Hotel Fort Worth and lead its talented culinary team,” Malek said in a statement. “I look forward to creating memorable dining experiences for our guests and contributing to the hotel’s reputation for excellence.”
The Crescent Hotel Fort Worth, located in the city’s Cultural District, opened in 2023. The property features 200 guest rooms and suites, a spa, and multiple dining venues. Emilia’s, the hotel’s main restaurant, offers Mediterranean-inspired cuisine, while The Blue Room provides a private dining space. The Circle Bar serves cocktails and light fare in a lounge setting.
