The Michelin Guide, known for its prestigious restaurant ratings, introduced the Michelin Key in 2023 to honor hotels that deliver outstanding guest experiences. The Cozy Hotel Chalet was included in the inaugural list and has now retained its status in the 2024 edition.

According to the Michelin Guide, the selection process involves anonymous visits by inspectors who evaluate each property based on these criteria. Only a small percentage of hotels worldwide receive the Michelin Key distinction each year.
