For Nyla Lueeth, the act of reading offers a sense of understated luxury. The model and entrepreneur, who is based in New York, finds solace in the pages of a good book, often turning to literature as a way to unwind from her busy schedule.
Lueeth describes reading as a simple pleasure that brings her joy. “There’s something special about sitting down with a book and letting yourself get lost in the story,” she says. “It’s a form of self-care that doesn’t require much, but gives so much in return.”
Her appreciation for books began in childhood, when she would spend hours at the library. Now, as her career takes her around the world, she continues to make time for reading, packing novels in her luggage for long flights and quiet evenings in hotel rooms.
Lueeth believes that reading not only provides relaxation, but also broadens her perspective. “Books have introduced me to new ideas and different ways of thinking,” she explains. “They help me understand the world and myself a little better.”
She encourages others to discover the comfort that comes from reading, noting that it can be a valuable escape from the demands of daily life. “Even if it’s just for a few minutes each day, picking up a book can make a big difference,” Lueeth says.
