Nobu Hospitality has announced plans to launch its first hotel in Puerto Rico, with the Nobu Hotel San Juan scheduled to open in 2028. The upcoming property will be located in the Isla Verde district, a popular area in San Juan known for its beaches and vibrant nightlife.
Details of the New Nobu Hotel
The Nobu Hotel San Juan will feature 225 guest rooms and suites, offering guests a range of accommodations. The hotel will also include a signature Nobu restaurant, a rooftop bar, and a range of wellness facilities. Plans for the property include meeting and event spaces, as well as a spa and fitness center.
Expansion of Nobu Hospitality
This new development marks Nobu Hospitality’s continued global expansion. The company, which was co-founded by chef Nobu Matsuhisa, actor Robert De Niro, and film producer Meir Teper, has established a presence in several major cities worldwide. The San Juan location will be the brand’s first in Puerto Rico.

The Nobu Hotel San Juan is expected to open its doors in 2028. The property will be situated in Isla Verde, a district recognized for its resorts, entertainment venues, and proximity to Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport.
