A new luxury hotel is set to be developed in Norman’s Campus Corner, adjacent to the University of Oklahoma. The project is expected to bring additional hospitality options to the area, which is frequented by students, visitors, and event attendees.
The proposed hotel will be located at the intersection of Asp Avenue and Boyd Street, a prominent spot near the university’s main entrance. Developers have indicated that the hotel will feature high-end accommodations and amenities designed to serve both university guests and the local community.
According to project representatives, the hotel will include approximately 120 rooms, a rooftop bar, and a restaurant. The design aims to complement the existing architecture of Campus Corner while providing modern features for guests. Construction is anticipated to begin later this year, with an opening date projected for late 2025.
City officials have expressed optimism about the project’s potential economic impact. “This development will enhance the vibrancy of Campus Corner and offer new options for visitors,” a city spokesperson stated. The hotel is expected to create both construction and permanent hospitality jobs in Norman.
