Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group has announced the introduction of a luxury river cruise along the Nile and the opening of two new hotels in Egypt, expanding its presence in the country’s hospitality sector.
Launch of Nile Cruise Experience
The company revealed plans for the Mandarin Oriental Nile Cruise, which is scheduled to begin operations in 2027. The vessel will offer 40 cabins and suites, providing guests with a high-end travel experience between Luxor and Aswan. The cruise will feature a spa, wellness facilities, dining options, and an observation deck designed for panoramic views of the Nile.
New Hotels in Cairo and Luxor
In addition to the cruise, Mandarin Oriental will open two new hotels: Mandarin Oriental, Cairo, and Mandarin Oriental, Luxor. The Cairo property is expected to open in 2024, while the Luxor hotel is slated for a 2027 launch. Both hotels will offer luxury accommodations, dining venues, and wellness amenities.
