A new luxury hotel has commenced operations in the tallest building in Texas, located in downtown Austin. The hotel, which occupies several floors of the recently completed high-rise, is now welcoming guests.
The tower, which stands at 1,022 feet, surpasses all other buildings in the state in terms of height. The hotel is situated within the structure known as the Waterline, which was finalized earlier this year. The Waterline is a mixed-use development that includes residential, office, and retail spaces in addition to the hotel.
According to hotel representatives, the property features 251 guest rooms and suites, offering views of the Austin skyline and Lady Bird Lake. Amenities include a rooftop pool, a full-service spa, and multiple dining options. The hotel also provides event spaces designed for conferences, weddings, and other gatherings.
“We are excited to open our doors in such an iconic location,” said the hotel’s general manager. “Our team looks forward to delivering exceptional service to visitors and locals alike.”
The Waterline’s completion marks a significant addition to Austin’s downtown landscape. The building’s developers have stated that the project aims to contribute to the city’s ongoing growth and urban development.
