Lufthansa has announced the expansion of its premium Allegris cabin to new international routes, aiming to elevate its luxury travel offerings. The airline revealed that the Allegris product, first introduced on select flights, will now be available on additional long-haul services.
New Destinations for Allegris Cabin
The Allegris cabin, which features upgraded seating and enhanced amenities, will be offered on flights between Munich and both Chicago and Montreal. According to Lufthansa, these routes will be operated using the Airbus A350-900 aircraft equipped with the new Allegris configuration. The expansion follows the initial deployment of Allegris on the Munich to Vancouver route.
Features of the Allegris Experience
Passengers traveling in the Allegris cabin will have access to a range of upgraded features. The cabin includes new business class seats with direct aisle access, increased privacy, and adjustable seating positions. Additional amenities include larger entertainment screens, wireless charging, and enhanced storage options. Lufthansa stated that the Allegris product is designed to provide a more comfortable and personalized travel experience for premium passengers.
Implementation Timeline
Lufthansa plans to begin offering the Allegris cabin on the Munich-Chicago route starting in July, with the Munich-Montreal service to follow in August. The airline indicated that further routes may be added as more aircraft are retrofitted with the new cabin configuration.
Strategic Focus on Premium Travel
The introduction of Allegris on additional routes is part of Lufthansa’s broader strategy to strengthen its position in the premium travel market. The airline emphasized its commitment to investing in cabin upgrades and enhancing service quality for long-haul travelers.
