Los Mochis, a restaurant group based in London, has announced record sales figures as it prepares to expand its operations internationally.
Strong Financial Performance
The company reported that its flagship site in Notting Hill achieved sales of £8.5 million in the previous year. This figure marks the highest annual revenue for a single-site restaurant in the United Kingdom, according to the group.
Los Mochis’ owner, Markus Thesleff, stated, “We are delighted with the performance of our Notting Hill site, which has exceeded all expectations.”
Expansion Plans
Following this financial success, Los Mochis is planning to open a second location in London’s City district in July. The new venue will occupy a 14,000 square foot space at 100 Liverpool Street, Broadgate, and will include a rooftop terrace.
Thesleff commented, “The City site will allow us to bring our unique blend of Mexican and Japanese cuisine to a new audience.”
International Ambitions
In addition to its London expansion, Los Mochis is considering opportunities in international markets. The group has indicated that it is exploring sites in the Middle East and North America.
Thesleff said, “We are in advanced discussions regarding potential locations overseas and look forward to sharing more details in due course.”
