NAIA, a new restaurant blending Mediterranean and Asian flavors, has opened its doors on Las Olas Boulevard, aiming to offer a luxurious dining experience in Fort Lauderdale. The establishment is located at 201 SW Fifth Ave. and is described by its operators as a “crowning jewel” for the area.
Ambitious Culinary Vision
The restaurant’s menu is designed to merge Mediterranean and Asian cuisines, featuring dishes such as miso black cod, wagyu beef carpaccio, and truffle risotto. Executive Chef Carlos Estarita leads the kitchen, bringing experience from previous roles at high-end restaurants in Miami and New York.
“We wanted to create something unique for Las Olas, something that stands out,” said Estarita. “Our goal is to deliver an elevated dining experience that combines the best of both worlds.”
Luxurious Setting and Design
NAIA’s interior features marble accents, gold fixtures, and custom lighting, with seating for 120 guests. The restaurant includes a private dining room and an outdoor terrace overlooking the New River. The design aims to evoke a sense of sophistication while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
Ownership and Development
The restaurant is part of the Icon Las Olas development, owned by the Related Group. The company has invested in several hospitality projects in South Florida, with NAIA representing its latest venture into the luxury dining market.
“Las Olas has always been a destination for great food and nightlife,” said Nick Perez, senior vice president at Related Group. “With NAIA, we’re adding something new and special to the mix.”

NAIA is open for dinner service Tuesday through Sunday, with plans to introduce lunch and brunch in the coming months. Reservations can be made through the restaurant’s website or by phone.
