IHG Hotels & Resorts has announced its intention to introduce its complete portfolio of Luxury & Lifestyle brands to Saudi Arabia by the year 2028.
The company revealed this plan during the Future Hospitality Summit held in Riyadh, outlining its commitment to expanding its presence in the Kingdom. IHG’s Luxury & Lifestyle collection includes brands such as Six Senses, Regent, InterContinental, Kimpton, Hotel Indigo, and Vignette Collection.
Haitham Mattar, Managing Director, India, Middle East & Africa at IHG Hotels & Resorts, stated, “Saudi Arabia is a priority market for IHG globally. We are committed to supporting the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 by bringing our entire Luxury & Lifestyle portfolio to the country by 2028.”
Currently, IHG operates 40 hotels in Saudi Arabia, with an additional 32 properties in the development pipeline. The company’s expansion aligns with the Kingdom’s efforts to diversify its economy and enhance its tourism sector.
IHG’s strategy includes opening new hotels in key destinations such as Riyadh, Jeddah, and the Red Sea coast. The company aims to cater to both domestic and international travelers by offering a range of luxury and lifestyle experiences.
