Fortnum & Mason, the renowned London department store, has added a new element to its traditional afternoon tea offering by including caviar on the menu.
Guests at the Piccadilly flagship can now select from a range of caviar options to accompany their afternoon tea, which is served in the Diamond Jubilee Tea Salon. The new addition is intended to enhance the classic experience, which already features a selection of finger sandwiches, scones, and pastries.
Fortnum & Mason’s caviar selection includes varieties such as Oscietra and Baerii, with prices starting at £65 for 30 grams. The caviar is served with blinis and crème fraîche, and can be paired with Champagne or vodka for an additional charge.

The store has a long association with luxury foods and has been serving afternoon tea since the 1920s. The Diamond Jubilee Tea Salon, where the caviar afternoon tea is available, was opened by Queen Elizabeth II in 2012.
