Hotel El Roblar in Ojai has introduced a new “Dinner and a Movie” series, offering guests an opportunity to enjoy a meal and a film in a single evening. The event is scheduled to take place on select Thursdays throughout the summer at the hotel’s restaurant, The Dutchess.
The series began on June 6, featuring the film “Big Night.” Attendees were served a multi-course dinner inspired by the movie, with dishes prepared by The Dutchess’ culinary team. The menu for the evening included Italian specialties such as risotto, timpano, and tiramisu, reflecting the themes of the film.
Future screenings are planned for June 20, July 11, and July 25, with each event featuring a different movie and a menu tailored to the film’s setting or cuisine. According to organizers, the series aims to create a unique dining and entertainment experience for both hotel guests and local residents.
