Chris Ryan has been selected as the new General Manager for L’Auberge Del Mar, a coastal resort located in Del Mar, California. The appointment was announced on June 12, 2023.
Ryan brings over 20 years of hospitality experience to his new role, having previously held leadership positions at several luxury hotels and resorts. Before joining L’Auberge Del Mar, he served as General Manager at The Westin San Diego Gaslamp Quarter. His background also includes management roles at properties such as The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel and The St. Regis Monarch Beach Resort.
“I am honored to join the team at L’Auberge Del Mar and look forward to building on the property’s legacy of exceptional guest experiences,” Ryan stated in a press release. He emphasized his commitment to maintaining the resort’s reputation for personalized service and community engagement.
L’Auberge Del Mar is known for its ocean views, luxury accommodations, and proximity to the Del Mar Racetrack. The resort features 121 guest rooms and suites, a full-service spa, and multiple dining venues.
