Barriere has announced the opening of a new Fouquet’s restaurant in Greece, marking the brand’s first location in the country. The restaurant is situated at the City Link complex in central Athens.
The new Fouquet’s Athens is designed to reflect the signature Parisian style of the original Fouquet’s on the Champs-Élysées, offering a menu curated by Chef Pierre Gagnaire. The menu features classic French cuisine alongside a selection of Greek-inspired dishes.
Barriere stated that the Athens location aims to provide guests with an authentic Fouquet’s experience, combining French culinary tradition with local influences. The restaurant’s interior incorporates elements reminiscent of the Paris flagship, including red velvet seating and art deco details.
The opening of Fouquet’s Athens is part of Barriere’s broader strategy to expand its international presence. The company operates Fouquet’s restaurants in several cities worldwide, including Paris, Cannes, Dubai, and New York.
