Avora Residences has announced the successful acquisition of the cruise ship Seven Seas Navigator, expanding its portfolio in the hospitality sector. The transaction was completed on June 12, 2024, following negotiations that began earlier this year.
The Seven Seas Navigator, originally constructed in 1999, is recognized for its luxury accommodations and has operated a variety of international itineraries. The vessel features 245 suites, multiple dining venues, and a range of amenities designed for upscale travelers.
According to Avora Residences, the acquisition aligns with the company’s strategy to diversify its offerings and enter the luxury cruise market. A spokesperson for Avora Residences stated, “This purchase marks a significant step in our growth plan, allowing us to deliver unique travel experiences to our clients.”
The company has indicated that the Seven Seas Navigator will undergo a refurbishment period before being relaunched under the Avora brand. Details regarding the timeline for renovations or future itineraries have not been disclosed.
The purchase price for the Seven Seas Navigator was not revealed. The vessel will be integrated into Avora Residences’ existing operations, with plans to maintain its focus on high-end service and amenities.
