American Airlines has revealed plans to open a new Admirals Club lounge at Chicago O’Hare International Airport. The new facility is scheduled to welcome travelers on June 5, 2024, expanding the airline’s premium lounge offerings at one of its key hubs.
Enhanced Amenities for Travelers
The forthcoming Admirals Club will be located in Terminal 3, Concourse G, and will feature updated amenities designed to improve the passenger experience. According to American Airlines, the lounge will offer expanded seating, upgraded food and beverage options, and enhanced workspaces for business travelers.
“We are excited to introduce a new Admirals Club at Chicago O’Hare, providing our customers with a modern and comfortable space to relax or work before their flights,” said Clarissa Sebastian, American Airlines’ Managing Director of Premium Customer Experience and Onboard Products.
Design and Features
The new lounge will incorporate design elements inspired by Chicago’s architecture and culture. American Airlines stated that the facility will include locally sourced artwork, improved lighting, and a layout intended to maximize comfort and privacy for guests.
Additional features will include complimentary Wi-Fi, shower suites, and a range of refreshments. The lounge will be accessible to eligible American Airlines passengers, including Admirals Club members, qualifying first and business class travelers, and select elite status holders.

The opening of the new Admirals Club at O’Hare is part of a broader initiative by American Airlines to upgrade its lounge network across the United States. The airline has recently invested in modernizing several other Admirals Club locations, aiming to provide a consistent premium experience for its customers.
