Mast Travel Network has announced a new partnership with Special Needs Group (SNG) aimed at broadening accessible travel training for its members. This initiative seeks to provide travel advisors with expanded resources and education on serving travelers with disabilities and special requirements.
New Training Opportunities for Advisors
Through this collaboration, Mast Travel Network members will have access to SNG’s Certified Accessible Travel Advocate program. This training is designed to equip advisors with the knowledge and skills necessary to address the unique needs of clients who require mobility equipment, oxygen, or other special accommodations during their travels.
John Werner, president and COO of Mast Travel Network, stated, “Our partnership with Special Needs Group is an important step in ensuring that all travelers, regardless of their abilities, can experience the joy of travel. By offering this training, we are empowering our advisors to better serve a broader range of clients.”
Commitment to Inclusive Travel
Special Needs Group provides mobility and oxygen equipment rentals for travelers worldwide. The company’s Certified Accessible Travel Advocate program has trained more than 6,000 travel professionals since its launch in 2011. The program covers topics such as accessible cruise and land travel, equipment options, and best practices for working with clients who have disabilities.
Andrew J. Garnett, founder, president, and CEO of Special Needs Group, commented, “We are excited to partner with Mast Travel Network to expand the reach of our accessible travel training. Together, we can help ensure that travel is inclusive and accessible for everyone.”
