AmaWaterways has announced the launch of its newest ship, AmaMaya, which will operate on the Mekong River. The vessel is scheduled to commence sailings in 2025, offering river cruise itineraries through Vietnam and Cambodia.
Details of the New AmaMaya Ship
The AmaMaya will feature 44 staterooms, including 14 suites, and is designed to provide guests with panoramic views of the river. Amenities on board will include a pool, a fitness room, a spa, and a sun deck. The ship will also offer locally inspired cuisine and a range of shore excursions.
Itinerary and Destinations
The new ship will operate on the seven-night “Charms of the Mekong” itinerary. This journey travels between Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam and Siem Reap in Cambodia, with stops at locations such as Phnom Penh and Angkor Ban. Guests will have opportunities to explore local markets, temples, and villages along the route.
