Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts has announced the appointment of Robert Fritz to the position of Executive Chairman, effective immediately.
Fritz, who previously served as Chief Operating Officer at Four Seasons, will now oversee the company’s global strategy and operations in his new role. According to the company, this leadership change is intended to support ongoing growth and development initiatives across its international portfolio.
“Robert’s deep understanding of our business and commitment to excellence make him ideally suited for this position,” said a company spokesperson. “His leadership will be instrumental as we continue to expand our presence and deliver exceptional experiences to our guests worldwide.”
Fritz joined Four Seasons in 2010 and has held various senior leadership positions within the organization. His experience includes overseeing hotel operations, driving brand standards, and managing key partnerships. The company stated that Fritz’s appointment is part of a broader strategy to strengthen its executive team and enhance operational efficiency.
Four Seasons currently operates more than 120 hotels and resorts in 47 countries. The company has indicated plans for further expansion, with several new properties scheduled to open in the coming years.
