IHG Hotels & Resorts has announced plans to launch its luxury lifestyle brand, Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants, in Qatar. This move marks the first appearance of the Kimpton brand in the country.
The new Kimpton property is scheduled to open in Doha in 2024. The hotel will be located in the capital’s West Bay area, offering guests access to the city’s business and leisure districts. The development is part of IHG’s strategy to expand its luxury and lifestyle portfolio in the Middle East.
Kimpton Doha will feature 282 rooms, including 48 suites, and will offer a variety of dining options. The hotel will also provide meeting and event spaces, a health club, and a spa. According to IHG, the property will reflect Kimpton’s signature approach to hospitality, focusing on personalized guest experiences and distinctive design.
