A company owned by a member of Abu Dhabi’s royal family is set to acquire a share in the Caring Hospitality Group, a business known for its restaurant holdings.
According to a statement released on Monday, International Holding Company (IHC), which is chaired by Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has agreed to purchase a minority interest in the hospitality group. The financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Caring Hospitality Group operates several prominent restaurants, including the Ivy, Le Caprice, and Scott’s. The company is led by Richard Caring, a well-known figure in the UK hospitality sector.
The acquisition is part of IHC’s ongoing strategy to expand its investments in the hospitality and leisure industries. The company has previously made similar investments in other sectors as it seeks to diversify its portfolio.
Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who also serves as the United Arab Emirates’ national security adviser, oversees IHC, which has grown rapidly in recent years. The company’s expansion has included a range of acquisitions both within the UAE and internationally.
Richard Caring commented on the agreement, stating, “We are delighted to welcome IHC as a partner and look forward to working together to further develop the group’s brands and offerings.”
The deal is subject to customary regulatory approvals and is expected to be finalized in the coming months. Both parties have indicated that they will continue to operate Caring Hospitality Group’s existing venues and explore opportunities for further growth.
