The Andaz brand, part of Hyatt Hotels Corporation, has opened its inaugural mountain property, marking a new milestone for the lifestyle hotel line. The Andaz Pattaya Jomtien Beach, located in Thailand, is the brand’s first venture into a mountainous setting.
This new resort is situated in the scenic region of Jomtien, offering views of the surrounding mountains and coastline. The property features 204 rooms, suites, and villas, each designed to reflect the local culture and natural environment. Amenities include three swimming pools, a spa, and six dining venues that offer a range of international and local cuisine.
Hyatt has stated that the Andaz Pattaya Jomtien Beach aims to provide guests with immersive experiences that highlight the destination’s unique character. The resort’s design incorporates elements inspired by traditional Thai architecture and the natural landscape.
Javier Águila, group president of EAME at Hyatt, commented, “We are excited to introduce the Andaz brand to a mountain destination for the first time. This opening demonstrates our commitment to expanding our lifestyle portfolio in new and inspiring locations.”
The Andaz Pattaya Jomtien Beach is part of Hyatt’s broader strategy to grow its presence in the Asia-Pacific region. The company has indicated plans to open additional Andaz properties in various destinations over the coming years.
