United Airlines Focuses on Wi-Fi Improvements
United Airlines has begun promoting what it describes as “better Wi-Fi” across its fleet. The airline stated that the initiative is designed to provide passengers with a more reliable and faster internet connection during flights. According to United, the upgraded system will be available on most domestic mainline aircraft, with plans to expand the service to additional planes in the future.
United’s Chief Customer Officer, Linda Jojo, said, “We know that staying connected is important to our customers, and we’re committed to providing a Wi-Fi experience that meets their needs.” The airline indicated that the improved Wi-Fi will support activities such as streaming, browsing, and messaging, aiming to enhance the overall in-flight experience.

The airline announced that these enhanced meal selections will be available on select routes, with a focus on providing high-quality ingredients and diverse menu choices. Delta’s Managing Director of Onboard Services, Mike Henny, commented, “Our goal is to deliver a restaurant-quality dining experience at 30,000 feet.” The airline stated that the new menu will feature seasonal dishes and regionally inspired cuisine, with options rotating throughout the year.
