The Pendry Tampa, a new luxury hotel and condominium project, has reached its full height of 38 floors in downtown Tampa. The development, which is situated along the Hillsborough River, is expected to be completed in 2026.
The tower, located at 100 South Ashley Drive, will feature 220 hotel rooms and 207 private residences. The project is being developed by Pendry Hotels & Resorts in partnership with Two Roads Development. Construction began in 2022 and has now topped out, marking a significant milestone for the project.
Project Details and Features
The Pendry Tampa will offer a range of amenities for residents and guests, including a rooftop pool, a spa, multiple dining options, and meeting spaces. The building will also provide direct access to the Tampa Riverwalk, enhancing connectivity to the surrounding downtown area.
According to the developers, the residences have been in high demand, with more than 70 percent of the units already under contract. The condominiums are priced from $1.3 million, with penthouses reaching up to $7 million.
Economic Impact and Community Response
The project is anticipated to generate hundreds of construction jobs and, once open, will employ approximately 300 people. City officials have expressed optimism about the development’s potential to attract visitors and new residents to downtown Tampa.
“This is a transformative project for Tampa’s skyline and urban core,” said Bob Vail, president of Two Roads Development. “We are excited to see the building reach this important stage.”
Timeline and Future Plans
With the structural framework now complete, interior work and the installation of building systems will continue over the next two years. The hotel and residences are scheduled to open in early 2026.
