IHG Hotels & Resorts has partnered with Castello SGR to introduce the Kimpton brand in Rome, marking the brand’s first entry into the Italian capital.
The new Kimpton hotel will be located in the heart of Rome and is expected to open in the second half of 2025. The property will feature 59 rooms and suites, as well as a restaurant and bar, a wellness area, and a rooftop terrace offering views of the city.
This project is part of a broader collaboration between IHG and Castello SGR, an Italian real estate asset management company. The hotel will be managed under a long-term lease agreement.

Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants, which is part of IHG’s luxury and lifestyle collection, is known for its distinctive design and personalized guest experiences. The brand currently operates more than 75 hotels worldwide.

The upcoming Kimpton hotel in Rome will join IHG’s existing portfolio in Italy, which includes brands such as InterContinental, Hotel Indigo, and Crowne Plaza.
