Anantara Hotels, Resorts & Spas has announced its entry into Zambia with the unveiling of Anantara Kafue River Tented Camp, scheduled to open in early 2025. The new property will be situated within Kafue National Park, one of Africa’s oldest and largest protected areas.
Location and Features
The Anantara Kafue River Tented Camp will be located on the banks of the Kafue River, offering direct access to the park’s diverse wildlife and landscapes. The camp will feature 12 spacious tents, each designed to provide views of the river and surrounding wilderness. Guests will have opportunities for guided game drives, walking safaris, and river excursions.

The company stated that the camp’s design and operations will prioritize sustainability and minimal environmental impact. Anantara plans to collaborate with local communities and conservation organizations to support wildlife protection and community development initiatives in the region.
