The gathering commemorated the completion of the building’s structural framework, a stage commonly referred to as “topping off” in the construction industry. The Aman Hotel, which is being developed on the site of the historic Versailles Hotel, is anticipated to open its doors in 2026.

Miami Beach Mayor Dan Gelber addressed attendees, stating, “This is a very important project for our city. Project Details and Future Plans
The Aman Hotel and Residences will feature 56 guest rooms and 22 private residences. The development is being led by OKO Group and Access Industries, with architecture by Kobi Karp. The project involves the restoration of the original Versailles Hotel structure, which was built in 1941 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
Developers noted that the restoration aims to preserve the building’s iconic Art Deco features while introducing modern amenities. Vladislav Doronin, CEO of OKO Group, commented, “We are committed to honoring the history of this landmark while creating a new destination for Miami Beach.”
