New Distribution Deals Announced
Caffe Vita, a Seattle-based coffee company, has finalized agreements with a high-end grocery retailer and a restaurant group shortly after acquiring a Phoenix beverage distributor. The company announced the new partnerships on Monday, marking a strategic expansion following its recent acquisition.
Acquisition of Phoenix Beverage Distributor
Earlier this month, Caffe Vita completed the purchase of Press Coffee Roasters’ wholesale beverage distribution business in Phoenix. The acquisition included the transfer of key staff and assets, enabling Caffe Vita to broaden its presence in the Southwest region.
Partnerships with Luxury Grocer and Restaurant Group
Following the acquisition, Caffe Vita secured a deal to supply coffee to AJ’s Fine Foods, a luxury grocery chain with 11 locations in Arizona. The company also reached an agreement with Upward Projects, a Phoenix-based restaurant group that operates several dining establishments in the area.
Statements from Company Leadership
Mike McConnell, CEO of Caffe Vita, stated, “These new partnerships are a direct result of our recent expansion into the Phoenix market. We look forward to working with AJ’s Fine Foods and Upward Projects to bring our coffee to more customers in Arizona.”
Expansion Strategy and Future Plans
Caffe Vita indicated that it plans to continue growing its distribution network in the Southwest, building on the foundation established by the acquisition and new partnerships. The company operates cafes in Seattle, New York, and Los Angeles, and now aims to strengthen its footprint in Arizona through these recent developments.
