The Mill at Zehnder Park features 20 guest rooms, each designed with contemporary décor and amenities. The rooms include king or queen beds, walk-in showers, and high-speed internet access. Some accommodations offer views of the Cass River, while others overlook Zehnder Park.
Additional amenities at the hotel include a fitness center, complimentary breakfast, and a lounge area for guests. The property also provides direct access to Zehnder Park, allowing visitors to enjoy outdoor activities and scenic walking paths.
Development and Design
The hotel was developed by Zehnder’s of Frankenmuth, a family-owned business with a long-standing presence in the area. The Mill at Zehnder Park is situated on the site of a former flour mill, and the design incorporates elements that pay homage to the building’s history. Exposed brick, reclaimed wood, and industrial accents are featured throughout the property.
According to the developers, the goal was to create a space that blends modern comfort with historical character. “We wanted to honor the site’s past while providing guests with a unique experience,” said Al Zehnder, CEO of Zehnder’s of Frankenmuth.
