An upscale dining establishment that took over the former Agra Culture location in St. Paul has announced it will be closing its doors.
The restaurant, which opened in 2022 at 771 Cleveland Ave. S. in the Highland Park neighborhood, confirmed the closure via a post on its social media channels. The final day of service is scheduled for June 16.
“It is with heavy hearts that we announce our closure,” the statement read. “We are grateful to everyone who supported us during our time in Highland Park.”
The venue replaced Agra Culture, which had operated at the site for several years before closing in 2021. The new restaurant introduced a menu focused on contemporary American cuisine and sought to offer a refined dining experience for the area.
Despite positive reviews and a dedicated customer base, the restaurant cited ongoing challenges in the industry as a factor in the decision to close. Staff members have been notified, and the management expressed appreciation for their efforts.
Those with existing reservations are being contacted directly regarding the closure. The restaurant’s management has not indicated any plans to relocate or reopen at a different site.
