Nobu Hospitality has revealed its intention to open a new hotel, restaurant, and residential development in the East Midlands region. This marks the brand’s first project of this kind in the area.
The upcoming Nobu Hotel and Residences will be located in Nottingham, featuring a luxury hotel, a Nobu restaurant, and a collection of branded residences. The development is set to be part of a larger regeneration initiative in the city.
The project is being developed in partnership with Bmor and will be situated on the site of the former Royal Mail sorting office in Nottingham’s city centre. The site is positioned close to Nottingham railway station and other major transport connections.
According to Nobu Hospitality, the new property will include 155 guest rooms and suites, a Nobu restaurant, conference and event spaces, a wellness centre, and 45 Nobu-branded residences. The development is expected to contribute to the ongoing transformation of Nottingham’s Southside area.
Trevor Horwell, CEO of Nobu Hospitality, stated, “We are delighted to be working with Bmor on this significant project in Nottingham. The city’s rich history and vibrant culture make it an ideal location for our brand.”
Construction on the site is scheduled to begin later this year, with the opening date anticipated for 2026. The project aims to create new employment opportunities and enhance the hospitality offering in Nottingham.
Further details about the development, including design features and residential offerings, are expected to be announced in the coming months.
