Cache, a French bistro currently operating in San Francisco’s Inner Sunset neighborhood, is preparing to open a second location in the Financial District (FiDi). The new restaurant is set to occupy the space at 222 Sansome Street, previously home to the eatery Louie’s Bar.
Cache’s original establishment, located at 1240 9th Avenue, is known for its classic French cuisine and has built a following since its opening. The upcoming FiDi location is expected to bring the same menu offerings and dining experience to a new audience in the city’s downtown area.
The expansion comes as the Financial District continues to see new restaurant openings, with businesses aiming to attract both office workers and residents. Cache’s management has not yet announced a specific opening date for the Sansome Street site but has indicated that preparations are underway.
