Hilton has announced the appointment of a chief brand officer for NoMad Hotels, its luxury lifestyle brand. This move follows Hilton’s acquisition of a majority interest in the NoMad Hotels brand earlier this year.
In a statement released on Monday, Hilton named Andrew Zobler as the chief brand officer for NoMad Hotels. Zobler is the founder and CEO of Sydell Group, the hospitality company that originally developed the NoMad brand. He will continue to serve as CEO of Sydell Group while taking on his new responsibilities at Hilton.
NoMad Hotels, known for their luxury accommodations and distinctive design, currently operate in London and Las Vegas. Hilton acquired a majority stake in the NoMad brand in April 2024, with plans to expand the portfolio globally. The company stated that Zobler’s leadership would be instrumental in guiding the brand’s growth and maintaining its unique identity within Hilton’s luxury portfolio.
Chris Silcock, president of global brands and commercial services at Hilton, said, “Andrew Zobler’s vision and expertise have been central to the NoMad brand’s success. We are excited to welcome him to Hilton as we work together to expand NoMad’s presence worldwide.”
Zobler commented, “Joining Hilton marks an exciting new chapter for NoMad Hotels. I look forward to working with Hilton’s team to bring NoMad’s unique style and experience to new destinations.”
The NoMad brand is recognized for its blend of luxury and lifestyle elements, offering guests a distinctive hospitality experience. Hilton’s acquisition is part of its broader strategy to strengthen its presence in the luxury and lifestyle hotel segment.
